This is in reference to order #52534, 08/15/2022
I was really disappointed with my reorder of my CD Jackets. I had purchased an initial run in 2021, and when my inventory got low, I made a reorder about 10 months later. The cardstock on the reorder seemed not as good of quality... in fac,t a few of my CDs got wet and instead of being able to just shake off or wipe off the water, the jackets got all soggy and bent, and when I tried to very gently dab/wipe the water drops off, it took the whole area of print with it leaving plain white backing.
This part was not as disappointing as the fact that I ordered clear round wafer seals for my jackets, and they were not included with my order. I emailed customer service and asked if they could send them to me and they said they would get them in the mail right away. About a month later I still had not received them, and was told they had been sent and I should've received them (but they gave no tracking or a heads up upon being shipped).
The customer service person said that since it was such a small order, it basically was too expensive to ship them to me and suggested they give me a credit on my account and I could "just go buy some at Office Depot" or something - the problem is, Office Depot only had them in packages of like 400 for $12 and my credit I received was not sufficient to even buy the smallest amount. So I have had to resort to Scotch-taping shut the jackets so the CDs don't fall out all over the place.
I am really unhappy with this and unhappy that I will have to take my artwork to another printer for my next orders and have to pay a setup fee again to have someone else print my CDs and CD jackets next time. So this is costing me a lot more than just the cost of a few dollars' worth of wafer seals and some damaged/unusably CD jackets (for which I now have too many CDs and not enough jackets, rendering the CDs unusable also). I'm an independent musician and play music for a living and this eats up my profits. I definitely was left to feel like I wasn't worth this company's time to make it right and would not recommend.
